Alisha will reflect on the fast-changing patient and public involvement landscape and explain how the Public Involvement in Research Impact Toolkit (PIRIT) can help you to avoid some common PPI planning pitfalls to deliver meaningful public involvement and track its impact.
Alisha Newman draws on 20 years’ experience of supporting public involvement in education, health and care services, and research. Her current roles include being the senior research associate for patient and public involvement and engagement at the University of Bristol, and the PIRIT implementation and dissemination lead at Cardiff University.
