Belfast Trust would like to hear from you how we can implement the provision of free period products in the Trust.
The Department of Health has directed Health and Social Care (HSC) Trusts to provide period products free of charge on their premises in accordance with the “Period Products (Free Provision) Act (Northern Ireland) 2022” – referred to as the Act.
To support the overall aim to ensure period products are provided free of charge to all persons in Northern Ireland who need them, we are asking for your input into how this is implemented within the Trust. Belfast Trust aims to ensure that this is implemented effectively and in the most cost-efficient way across our sites.
