Do you have lived experience of adult social care and want to influence strategic decision made about it?

Location: Regional

Closes: 18/10/2024

IMPACT is a new UK centre that wants to make adult social care services better for people who use them. DHCNI is coordinating IMPACT in Northern Ireland.

We are looking for people with lived experience of adult social care to join a local Network to plan how to involve people with lived experience in strategic decision making.

You may be someone that uses adult social care or a carer; or you may commission or arrange care for others.

Everyone who takes part will have their voice heard and influence change.

The Network met for the first time in September and will meet 3 more times from October 2024 to February 2025.

Meetings will be held at the Clayton Hotel, Belfast and each meeting will last 2 ½ hours. You will also need to take time to read materials that you’ll be given before each meeting.

Light refreshments will be provided.

Individuals who take part will be offered a payment of £75 per session and may also claim back their expenses (e.g. travel, the cost of a personal assistant or replacement care).
