Involvement staff in HSC organisations, continue to be the key source of support for staff engaging in the active involvement of service users and carers.
However, with ever increasing demands for advice and guidance and with feedback indicating that HSC staff need access to a central, accessible and concise source of initial support, the PHA have led on the development of a brand new Involvement Screening & Support Tool.
This Tool will support staff to quickly gain an understanding of the value of Involvement whilst also providing insights into what will help them to integrate Involvement into their culture and practice.
It brings together many of the resources previously developed, into a “ready reckoner” which enables HSC staff to quickly understand if their project/initiative requires Involvement, and if it does; what level that might be at, what difference that might make, how that might be undertaken and progressed, what is needed to support and facilitate it and also provides links to more detailed resources, guides and additional help.
