Trust’s Smoke & Vape Free Committee Service Involvement Opportunity

Location: Western Health and Social Care Trust

The Trust’s Smoke & Vape Free Committee are currently looking for interested candidates to support them as a member of the aforementioned group and to raise awareness of the work the group endeavours to complete.

Background

The Smoke and Vape Free group has been recently re-established to focus on maintaining hospital sites as Smoke Free and Vape Free environments and premises. It will also focus on training and education for both patients and staff. The group is a Multi-Disciplinary (Multi professional group) team of people who are very committed to improving standards and raise awareness about alternative options for people who smoke and the importance of having smoke free environments.

What to expect

Participation would be on a voluntary basis and travel costs will be covered.  The Involvement Team will provide on-going support and guidance. You will be a valued member of this team who want to make a difference to people’s health and wellbeing, and you will have an opportunity to have a voice in how the Western Trust promotes Smoke and Vape Free group manages compliance and non-compliance.
