The Regional Safer Mobility Steering Group:
A Regional Safer Mobility Steering Group has been set up as an important step towards creating a region-wide approach to falls prevention across community – acute and care home settings. This group will oversee, work together, and drive forward and apply the Regional Safer Mobility Model in Northern Ireland.
Why do we want Service Users and Carer involved at the heart of this work?
Placing the voice and experience of Service Users and Carers at the heart of this work will allow us to show the valuable views and efforts of people with lived experience. It will create a person-centred approach to the Safer Mobility Regional Model for NI. We want to involve Service Users and Carers because it leads to safer and better health and social care services by making sure services are designed around “lived experience”. It also allows us to focus on the whole person rather than just their health condition.
The EOI is live on Microsoft forms https://forms.microsoft.com/e/hs0xARHaaa with a closing date of the 5th November 2025. Please complete the online link to confirm your interest in this exicting Involvement opportunity.
