Opportunity to share your views on a research project
We would really value your thoughts on a proposed research study exploring how training for Healthcare Assistants could improve care for people at the end of life in the community.
The study aims to develop and test an online training programme to help Healthcare Assistants build the skills and confidence needed to provide high quality, person-centred care.
Your experience and insights are very important in helping to make sure this work is meaningful, inclusive and focused on what matters most to people and families.
Review and share your feedback
We would like to invite you to:
- Read the aims, objectives and proposed work for this study (in attached document)
- Share your feedback as a member of the Involvement Network
In particular, we are keen to hear your views on:
- Accessibility and inclusivity
- Clarity and understanding
- How well lived experience is reflected in shaping the study
Questions to consider:
- Do you feel this research would be worthwhile?
- Are the aims and objectives clear? Is anything missing?
- Do you have any other comments or reflections?
If the project is successful, there will be an opportunity to join a PPIE Advisory Group.
We are looking for up to two people with lived experience to help guide and shape the study. The group will play an important role in ensuring the research remains relevant, accessible and meaningful.
What would this involve?
- Taking part in online meetings approximately every three months
- Meetings will last up to one hour
- Providing advice on areas such as accessibility, understanding of findings, and sharing results in ways that are useful beyond academic audiences
Support and recognition:
- Payment will be provided for your time
- Any support needs will be fully met in line with current guidance
If you have any feedback, or you would be interested in becoming a member of the PPIE Advisory Group (following approval) then please come back to me by Thursday 25 June and your information can be passed on to Maria.
