Local Engagement Partnership Social Work and Social Care

Location: South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust

The Local Engagement Partnership (LEP) within the South Eastern Health and Social Care Trust are inviting new members to join!

To join you need to have experience as a service user, carer or family member of Social Work and/or Social Care services within the South Eastern Trust.

This is an opportunity to be involved with a group that is committed to using co-production to make our services better for the people who use Social Work and/or Social Care services within the Trust.

LEP work as an equal partnership and bring together individuals with lived experience of services, Trust staff and community/voluntary organisations with the aim of identifying and making improvements that will directly benefit the outcomes for service users and carers.

As a member of LEP you will be an equal voice and partner in discussion about Social Work and Social Care services and the issues which are important to service users, carers, relatives and the public.

LEP meet every 2 months in-person at the Downshire Hospital, Downpatrick. Members can join meetings online as well and support to attend meetings will be given. Meetings are on a Thursday morning at 10am and last for 2 hours.
