What is the Clinical Nutrition Sub-Committee ?
The Clinical Nutrition Sub-Committee is responsible for ensuring the delivery of safe and effective nutrition, hydration, care for swallowing difficulties and mealtime care of adults and children in the South Eastern Trust.
Members of the sub-committee include representatives from several health and social care professions in order to adopt a multi-disciplinary collaborative approach to this work.
What is the involvement role?
- To be a member of the Clinical Nutrition Sub-Committee as a Service User or Carer representative
- Share your experience and be involved in decisions about clinical nutrition in partnership with members of the sub-committee
- Meetings are every 3 months, and last for 1 hour 30 minutes
- Meetings are online via MS Teams. Support to access meetings

What experience is required?
To be a service user or carer with an interest and/or experience of nutrition in a hospital or community facility in the South Eastern Trust area.
