The Western Trust is reviewing the current Hospital Visiting policy and would value views from interested individuals who would like to take part in a temporary task and finish group.
Background
The Western Trust review policies as and when necessary. The Current visiting policy is now up for review and we would like views and opinions from both staff, patients, service users and carers to help ensure that the policy is encompassing of all that will be affected by the review and introduction of the policy. A temporary task and finish group has been setup to oversee this work who will report to the Trust’s Visiting reset group.
What to expect
This involvement opportunity is on a voluntary basis and support will be available from the Trust’s Personal Public Involvement team.
Details
The temporary task and finish group will review the current visiting policy with consideration to relevant up to date documentation or guidance that may directly impact this policy. It is hoped that the first draft for approval will be completed by June 2026
