We would like to invite you to a community conversation hosted by RQIA, the Regulation and Quality Improvement Authority.
RQIA is the independent body that inspects health and social care services in Northern Ireland. We check that services like care homes, home care, hospitals, dental practices and private clinics are safe and good quality.
Why we are holding these sessions
We want to get better at sharing what we do and what we find. To do that, we need to hear from the people who matter most: people who use services, and their families and carers. You know better than anyone what information would help you, where you would look for it, and what you would want to access and hear about.
What the sessions will be like
These are community conversations. They are informal, you do not need to prepare anything, and there are no wrong answers. In person sessions open with a short RQIA introduction video followed by two topic videos, on hospitals and trust services and on registered services. Online sessions open with the introduction video followed by the video for that session’s topic. After the video or videos, we simply want to hear your views. Your feedback will directly shape how RQIA shares information with the public in future.
Choose the session that suits you best
In person engagement programmes
These sessions cover both topics in one visit: the RQIA introduction, the video on Hospitals and other statutory HSC trust services, and the video on Registered Services (care homes, home care, dental practices, private clinics and more). They are relevant to anyone who has used, or cares for someone who has used, either type of service.
