We have developed a draft Carer Strategy, which sets out our plans for the next 5 years, and how we believe we can support our Carers. The Trust is committed to supporting carers, and we will ensure that the carers’ voices are heard when developing specific support and resources. We hope you will take the time to join us in this work and help to shape the way we support our unpaid, family carers.

In keeping with the commitments in our Equality Scheme we have carried out an Equality Screening of this draft strategy. We have also carried out a Rural Needs Impact Assessment. A copy of the Equality Screening and Rural Needs Impact Assessment can also be found on the Trust’s website.
We welcome your views on this draft strategy. A consultation proforma is available on our website for you to complete, however, we welcome your comments in any format. We are consulting for 12 weeks beginning 27 February 2026. Comments should be returned to the Involvement Team by 22 May 2026.
