The Co-operation and Working Together (CAWT) Partnership would appreciate your views on a proposed cross-border community alcohol detox project. This cross-border project aims to provide a home and community based detox service to 1,000 people with alcohol dependency syndrome, and support for their families/ carers (if appropriate).
The project will focus on mental and physical health and well-being to support post detox abstinence and maintain recovery. This proposal will form part of a project submission to the new EU PEACEPLUS programme, under theme 4.1 – Collaborative Health and Social Care/Addiction Service.
The CAWT partnership consists of the WHSCT, SHSCT, the Strategic Planning and Performance Group, PHA, and the HSE in Ireland.
