The Department of Health is seeking autistic adults and family members across Northern Ireland to help shape the future of adult autism services.
The Adult Autism Pathway Review Expert Reference Group is being established to review and update the Adult Autism Care Pathway, ensuring it remains relevant, evidence-informed, and responsive to the needs of autistic adults and their families.
They’re looking for people with lived experience of:
✅ Going through the adult autism diagnosis process
✅ Navigating support pathways before and after diagnosis
✅ Supporting autistic adults as family members or part of wider support networks
🗓 Three online meetings (one per month) ⏰ Up to 2 hours per session 🤝 Support available to help you participate 📅 First meeting expected to take place in September 2026
This is a fantastic opportunity to influence services and ensure the voices of autistic adults and their families are at the heart of future developments.
