Discussions on the Future of RSUN
RSUN, the Regional Service User Network is a long-standing project commissioned
and supported by the PHA. The network offers groups and individuals from various
backgrounds with personal experience of problematic substance use a way to
connect, empower and work to enhance the involvement and influence of people
who use substances in the planning, commissioning and delivery of substance use
services across NI.
The PHA are in the process of finding this much valued project a new home through
a regional tender process. RSUN members have been engaged throughout the
preparation to tender for a new provider.
We now want to begin a wider conversation, inviting anyone who has experience with problematic substance use,
past or present to take part in a discussion about the future of RSUN. We expect to consider those views and respond by sharing selected decisions about the direction and outcomes of this project as part of an ongoing process.
