The Public Health Agency (PHA) in partnership with The Strategic Planning & Performance Group (SPPG) are seeking views on the Substance Use Strategic Commissioning and Implementation Plan (the Plan) which will deliver the vision outlined in the Department of Health’s recent Substance Use Strategy Making Life Better, Preventing Harm, Empowering Recovery.
Specifically, we are seeking views on each of the eight Strategic Priority Areas that we have identified in the Plan; the recommended Commissioning Actions and the timescales for implementation.
All responses to this consultation are welcomed and will be fully considered before the Plan is finalised and published for implementation. You can respond in writing here until the closing date on 24th November; Substance Use Strategic Commissioning and Implementation Plan Consultation – NI Direct – Citizen Space.
Alternatively, the PHA are offering in person or virtual sessions for peer support or other groups of users of substance use services or for the families or carers impacted. If this is of interest to you please contact Jessica.murray@hscni.net
