Have you lived experience of using technology to maintain independence or prevent harm?

Location: Regional

Closes: 31/08/2024

IMPACT is a new UK centre that wants to make adult social care services better for people who use them. DHCNI is coordinating IMPACT in Northern Ireland.

We are looking for people to take part in a local Network to consider how technology can be used to help people be more independent or prevent harm.

Everyone who takes part will have their voice heard and influence change and you don’t need to have any qualifications: you may already use technology or be thinking of using it, you may care for someone that does, or you may have had problems using it, for example. Or you may be considering providing it to others.

The Network will meet 4 times from September 2024 to February 2025, in person. Each meeting will last 2 ½ hours.

You will also need time to read materials that you’ll be given before each meeting.

Light refreshments will be provided.

A discretionary payment of up to £75 per meeting is available for individuals who need help to take part (e.g. travel, the cost of a personal assistant or replacement care).
